K Drama Review #11 : The Moon Embracing the Sun

HelloooooOOOoooOOOOoOoOoO ! I have not blogged for quite a while now.
Also, there wasn't any dramas that ended recently..
So I decided to watch, "The Moon Embracing the Sun" starring : Kim So Hyun as Lee Hwon, Yeo Jin  Goo as Hwon(15 years old), Ha Ga In as Heo Yeon Woo/Wol,Kim Yoo Jung as Yeon Woo(13 years old), Jung Il Woo as Prince Yang Myung, Lee Min Ho as young Yang Myunng, Kim Min Seo as Yoon Bo Kyung, Kim So Hyun as young Bo Kyung.

Summary & Opinion: Thirteen-year-old Heo Yeon-woo, the daughter of a high-ranking official, accompanies her mother to the royal palace to attend her brother, Heo Yeom's civil service examination congratulory ceremony. By chance, she meets Crown Prince Lee Hwon in the midst of escaping to see his older half brother, Prince Yang-myung. They fall in love and Heo is chosen as the Crown Princess of Joseon. However the Dowager Queen secretly orders her death; in order to install Yoon Bo-gyeong, the daughter of a family clan, as Crown Princess in order to gain more power for herself. She orders head shaman Nok-yeong of Star Mansion to cast a spell on Yeon-woo to stricken her with an unknown sickness. Where upon she is returned home for the last remaining days of her life. Nok-young unbeknown to the Dowager Queen has promised her friend Ari, whom Yeon-woo's mother had saved before she was born, to protect her. So Nok-young secretly visits Yeon-woo's father and tells him how to break the spells. Upon being resurrected from her grave, Yeon-woo lives her life as a shaman but loses her memories. All believe her to be dead, including the Crown Prince Lee Hwon, who loves her and whom she was to marry. Eight years later, Yeon-woo returns as a shaman named Wol. She has not been forgotten by those she left behind, and her fate is still intertwined with Hwon, who is now the king. She must contend with the current Queen of Joseon, the Queen's Father, and the Queen Dowager in order to reclaim her rightful place as Queen of Joseon.

Overall, this drama was really sad, funny, and makes you want to watch all the episodes in one night :)

SPOILER opinion & rant:  I really loved this drama! I knew that a lot of people also liked it but I didn't get around to watching this until now. The two kids from I Miss You is in it and they are such good actors! When they killed Yeon Woo I was like OMGGGGG noooooooo! Spiritual mother whyyyyyy?!?!?!?!? The grandmother and that hairy face guy is soo evil, like grandma you aren't doing much for the kings good. I cried when the father was feeding her the medicine, cause he knows that she's gunna die:'( SIGH so sad. But when they dug her out I was soo happy, but then she lost her memory...typical~ But atleast she regained it. Also, when they said that Yeon Woo was like doing something with the king as a shaman and hitting her on the legs that part was sooo sad and kinda gross and scary. I really liked the king's eunuch he was sooo cute and funny. How the king tells him to face to wall when he gets mad and he's so supportive of the king too! Kim So Hyun was soo good looking in this drama *_* He was really cute when they finally reunited and she was hiding in the king's backroom. How he just wants to see her and decides to "read" in her room. I thought the princess and  Yeon Woo's brother looked kinda awkward cause she's so young, well they were both far apart when they first met I mean she was still a kid whereas he was a teenager. But atleast she saved Yeon Woo's family from getting killed. And it wasn't really her fault that Yeon Woo died, like she was young and she probably thought that they didn't have to kill her to get the Prince. I felt so sad for Yang Myung Prince because he didn't get anything that he wanted, but I kind of feel that the dad still kind of cared for him although he still didn't give him anything that he wanted. When Seol died when they stabbed her to save Yeon Woo's brother OMGGGGGG I just can't. literally tears just came downn so bad, like she was always there for Yeon Woo and they both were like best friends, and Seol helped her with soo much, and she even liked her brother. Also, when Yang Myung Prince died, I was like omggg don't doo it ! Cause he was just literally standing there watching that guy get up to kill him, but the King didn't even do anything he just stood there like OMG, he didn't even command anyone to kill that guy who was getting up to kill the prince...like wth. But when it went through his stomach, that was so sad. He didn't want to block his way anymore to become the king :( And when Hyun Soo was crying , he was crying so good because it was literally like a waterfall, whenever he closed his eyes it was like streams of tears coming down.When Yeon Woo and the King was getting married I was so happy for them and how he was impatient when the servants were pouring the "liquid". I don't blame him, even I thought she was pouring so slow. But he was just like STAHP IT just get out. Also, he was a virgin for 8 years without having le sexy time with the other queen. And the way he pulled her in...OMGAHHHH.. it was so intense. But I kind of felt bad for the ex queen cause although it was her fault for also letting all that drama happen but it was also because the father made her, and I think she did actually like the king. Cliche happy endings are soo gud! And it ended with them kissing. I am satisfied :D omg this is long I shall stop.

This drama is a definite, GO WATCH IT. It had a lot of funny and saddddd moments.

Now I shall conclude my review with my typical drama update. I am still currently watching I Miss You, and it's about to end in one episode, so stay tuned for a review soon ^^ I am also watching school 2013, although its not super duper good but I really like the cast so I shall continue with it. I am watching Cheong Dam Dong alice as well, and its really good I love the main guy he is soo good looking, and when he smiles..omg his smile is soooo handsome ! Also watching the recently broadcasted Flower Boy Next Door with Park Shin Hye and its pretty good and funnny so far I love the Enrique guy he's so cute !!!

K Drama Review #10 : Answer Me 1997/Reply 1997

Finished this drama, like just now LOL
This drama wassss hilarious and it was a really good drama to watch, at first I was a bit hesitant, but it just gets soo funny!
"Answer Me 1997" also known as "Reply 1997" Starring : Jung Eun Ji as Sung Shi Won, Seo In Guk as Yoon Yoon Je, Shin So Yul as Mo Yoo Jung, Hoya as Kang Joon Hee, Eun Ji Won as Do Hak Chan, Lee Shi Un as Bang Sung Jae.

 Summary & Opinion: Sung Shi Won and her five friends - Yoon Yoon Jae , Mo Yoo Jung , Kang Joon Hee , Do Hak Chan and Bang Sung Jae  - were friends in high school in 1997, when the K-pop and celebrity idols were gaining national popularity, and they were swept up in the adoration of their favorite K-pop and other idol stars. To the 18-year-old Shi Won, her entire world revolved around Tony An of H.O.T., and her only aspiration in life was to grow up to become his wife. Her best friend Yoo Jung was her partner in crime, also falling in love with a different idols everyday. Fifteen years later at the age of 33, the six high school friends meet for a mini-reunion, during which two of the friends announce their plans to marry. As they reminisce about the height of their teenage angst, the viewer needs to try to figure out which two friends fell in love during the 15 years since high school.


Definitely a really cute drama~ and almost every episode made me laugh. Love all the character's personalities and Shi Won and Yoo Jung are the definition of what fangirling is LOL ! This drama also made me cry at certain points as well. Should definitely check this drama out ^_^

SPOILER opinion & rant: I will say this once again LOL, this drama was really FUNNY ! And every time when an awkward/funny scenario is going on there has to be the lamb's *BAAAAA* in it which makes it even funnier. I loved Shi Won's fangirling moments, when her dad was wearing her HOT raincoat outside and it teared and she just fell to the ground and whined, staying out late to get their CD's..she really is a die for fan.Also, when the two captains or leaders or whatever it's called of HOT and sechskies, is standing outside of the building, getting ready to go in for the awards show and the leaders appearances are soo funny especially HOT's one(ahem her hair LAWLS). And then the ahjumma's idols won it, their faces HAHAH.. priceless. And when Hak Chan is a porn addict...oh god.. at first I was like omg seriously ew..but then when he was trying to download this ..eh hem...naked picture of a girl and it kept on lagging right before some *areas* go on and he's all like drooling and gulping and then it stop downloading and he's probably like FCKKKKKKKKKK YOUUU! And then his dad comes in, in his like what attempt like fourth?!?!?OMG that was so funny. Also, when Yoo Jung kept on breaking up with Hak Chan, and the last break up when he didn't even know why she broke up with him for like days until Shi Won said something about a present for her birthday...~BAAAAAA~ LOOL ! I felt really bad for Joon Hee though, he liked Yoon Jae for so long and then he just has to give up because he knows that it won't happen. But I actually thought that Joon Hee looked cute with Shi Won..but even so, I still wanted Shi Won and Yoon Jae to be together. Cause it's like weird if Shi Won and her "teacher" went out. But luckily he finds a gf later on. And when it was their first time legitely meeting and she farts LOOOOL omg, that made me LAUGH OUT LOUD for realse. oh yeah and some parts that made me cry was when Shi Won's dad had cancer.. that part was so sad. And then her mom gave Shi Won the homework that her dad did for her....TEARS... TEARSSS! Also, I started to cry buckets when Yoon Jae's hyung sent Yoon Jae the text saying I'm sorry. that part was just soooooo ERMAGHERD ~~ And then finally they had kissing scenes near the end like legit ones. So funny how Yoon Jae at first always wanted to go into Shi Won's house for "a cup of coffee." LOL ! And their kiss scenes were so cute.... I also loved the OST's in this drama ^_^


WATCH IT if you wanna laugh and cry :')

Decided to just continue on with watching I Miss You, since I won't have any dramas to watch after this drama for now.. But I am still pissed at how they are playing with Jung Woo.. but I guess that's how the drama will go.. Gunna find more new dramas to watch, since Winter Break is coming up in two weeks for me ^_^ DRAMA MARATHON ALL DAY 'ER DAY 24/7. LOL 5 things I need in life, my computer w/internet, ipod, phone, food, and money and I will stay in my cave foreverrrrrrrr LOL jks probs come out for a little and then go back in LOL life of a fangirling teenager. Ohhh yeah and I have been watching We got Married since like the first ep..forgot to tell 'yall LOl(yes I said 'yall) really like kwanghee and sunhwa and lee joon and Yoon seo..not just because I like Lee Joon ^_^ and his new hair cut issss sooo effn' cute !!! and update for hello baby, TBH(to be honest) I really don't like this season's hello baby it's not as interesting as the rests because it mainly focuses on the appas and it's not as entertaining...and the last last episode didn't go on for weeks... can't wait 'till january for CITY CONQUEST.. KIM HYUN JOONG BABYYYY. still can't find full subs of a werewolf boy so if anyone knows where to watch it LET ME KNOW CHE BAI !!!

K Drama Review #9 : Shut Up! Flower Boy Band

Hello Hello ^_^
Finally got a chance to watch Shut Up! Flower Boy Band. And it was a really fun drama to watch!
"Shut Up! Flower Boy Band" Starring : Sung Joon as Kwon Ji Hyuk, L as Lee Hyun Soo, Lee Hyun Jae as Jang Do Il, Kim Min Suk as Seo Kyung Jong, Yoo Min Kyu as Kim Ha Jin, Lee Min Ki as Joo Byung Hee (cameo, ep 1-2).

 

 Summary & Opinion: Eye Candy is a six member underground rock band led by Byung Hee. When the group transfers into the prestigious Jungsang High School, they find their rival, Strawberry Fields. This is a story about the two rock bands and how they deal with friendship, relationships, and their passion for music.

This drama was really good, it wasn't the best love genre drama but it was still really cute. And L is so amazingly good looking in this drama *_* 

SPOILER opinion & rant: I thought Byung Hee was going to be the main character in this drama but later on he dies so I was like WUT are you serious. But then I wiki-ed it and it said he was a cameo :( He was so cute, and I wished he didn't die !! And he died for the sake of getting drums, WHY YOU GOTTA HIT HIM GAWD ! I thought that Byung Hee and Soo Ah looked really cute together, especially when he calls her his muse. And then when Ji Hyuk and Soo Ah liked each other I was like omg what about Byung Hee and I didn't think they matched. But as their relationship progressed I liked them more and more even though they had to split up a bit later on. Whenever they failed at a performance I'm always like GAHHHH, can't you just make them have atleast have a perfect performance Jeez! But the pairing that I'm still kind of O.O with is Hyun Soo and Ye Rim cause I don't really find that they match each other that well. But he's so cute when he starts liking her and gets all jelly jelly. The ending was really good...HAPPY ENDINGS are the BOMB DIGGITY!! And then they played as a group with the song that Byung Hee wrote and I was like memoriesss~~~ And let me say it again L is soooooooooo god damn good looking *_*

Really cute drama to watch ~~

I was watching I Miss You, when they were kids it was REALLY intense but now that they're adults it's kind of boring, I don't like how that little boy doesn't like Jung Woo like he saved your life in the fire bro... And the only reason why Soo Yeon "doesn't really like Jung Woo" anymore was because of that little dude saying how he ditched her and ran away. Even though he did ditch her, he REGRETTED it BIG time and he searched for her like for how long?!!?!? 10+ years...And Soo Yeon is acting like a litte ____ like just say your her already OK? why you gotta play with him and say phrases that you say in the past and leave him all sad ?!?!?? Anyways that was my rant for that drama and I don't know if I want to continue on watching it, but Yoo Chun is in it...ROOF TOP PRINCE... what to dooo.. Oh and I'm also starting to watch Answer Me 1997 ! Which is soooo funnny ...FANGIRL PROBLEMS <3 H.O.T

Mnet Asian Music Awards 2012

I was going to watch this live but I started to get sooo sleepy that I just fell asleep watching it. I only watched past a little bit of the red carpet and I didn't get to see Big Bang walk it :'( . But I watched it the next morning and it was kind of laggy. I also saw some GIFS on tumblr, and there was this one GIF with EXO and they were like walking down the red carpet with all their SWAG and then some of the members almost passed the photo taking part and it was so cute cause they were like idk what's going on.

And then I saw Song Joong Ki hosting the beginning and MY FEEELS were like AHHHHHH, he's so cute...even though I don't really know what he's saying. And then Gain was doing her "sexy" dance and also Hyuna and HyunSeung's trouble maker...while my dad was doing his stuff beside me, so I felt a little awkward watching that part LOL. And then Angelababy gave out an award and I was like OMG it's angelababy, she's so pretty LOL. Super Juniors performance I was singing along with it too..SEXY FREE AND SINGLE READY TO BINGO!!! And then finally Big Bang came on and MY FEELS were to the max and I was like screaming silently and singing along. Their performance was soooo goood ! And TOP's eye... I was like ERMAGHERD ! And GD being half naked <33 And then PSY's performance was pretty good too, I really liked the inflatable PSY guy. I also loved when PSY was going up to get his award and all of big bang started to go up while doing the dance. Can't believe the whole awards was like 5 hours long. Congratulations to all the artists ! Can't wait 'till MAMA 2013!! And that concludes my rant of the day :) Oh yeah and Happy December !!! Can't wait 'till Christmas ^_^

K Drama Review #8 : The Innocent Man/Nice Guy

Finally made time to write this post ^_^ so excited to review this drama, because it ishh awesome !

This drama finished broadcasting on November 15th.
"The Innocent Man/Nice Guy" Starring : Song Joong Ki as Kang Maru, Moon Chae Won as Seo Eun Gi, Park Si Yeon as Han Jae Hee, and Lee Kwang Soo as Park Jae Gil.

Summary & Opinion : Smart and promising medical student Kang Ma-ru  has been in love all his life with his slightly older next-door neighbor, Han Jae-hee, a television reporter. He is an adoring boyfriend and she always considered Ma-ru her home.But when her situation takes a turn for the worse and Jae-hee becomes desperate to escape poverty, she meets a man who changes everything—a rich man who introduces her to a life of comfort. So she turns her back on Ma-ru, choosing money over love.
The brutal betrayal leaves Ma-ru fractured—not just angry, but a completely changed man. A few years later, Ma-ru is now 30 years old and works as a bartender, no longer a "nice guy." He then meets Seo Eun-gi, a young heiress who's being groomed to take over her father's company. Eun-gi is a cold and calculating, business-savvy, and raised by her father to never show emotion to anyone. But Ma-ru intrigues her, and she becomes curious until she can’t stop thinking about him.
Ma-ru decides to take advantage of her as a pawn in his plans for revenge on Jae Hee, and Eun-gi falls in love with him, not knowing that he’s using her to get back at his ex, Jae-hee, who happens to be Eun-gi's young, gold-digging stepmother. Just when Ma-ru is beginning to genuinely care for Eun-gi, she finds out the truth and they break up. But a car accident causes Eun-gi to lose her memory, and she enters Ma-ru's life again.
Overall, this drama was perfect from the beginning to the end and each episode leaves you speechless and you just want more of it. The intensity of Kang Maru dealing with Eun Gi and Jae Hee. And it's just SOO GUUD ! Definitely a good drama to watch and one of the bests in 2012.

SPOILER opinion & rant : When I first watched this drama after to the beautiful you I was totally attached to it. The first episode already made me totally addicted to it when Jae Hee killed that guy. And every time Jae Hee tries to outsmart Maru..he always knows what's happening and I'm all behind the computer, nodding my head..."mmm hmmmm gurl he knew, he knew." The relationship between Maru and Eun Gi is soo cute but when she finds out about him using her and stuff and crashes into Maru I was like OMGGGGG! so intense! Also, when Maru turns bad and scams people I was like WHY MARU WHY!! and his hair changed, but I liked his old hair better cause he looked hotter LOLS and Jae Hee's hair, I liked it longer as well. Everytime when that Ahn Min Young talks I'm just like SHUT UP OKAY JAEHEE DOES NOT LIKE YOU AND YOU CAN NEVER WIN MARU! Lawyer Park is cute too, and I felt so bad for him cause he likes Eungi but he kinda knows that they can't be together. But the ending really confused me, like did Maru really lose his memories or is he just pretending and did Eungi lose her memories too again or something cause it seems like they don't know each other..or was that like the after life or something I DONT GET IT!! someone explain it to me in the comments or something cause I'm still like... what?
Anyways, I have more to say about nice guy but I'm too lazy :( maybe I'll add on to it more later ^_^

Watch this drama and you won't regret it !!

K DRAMA review # 7 : The Faith/The Great Doctor

The Faith is finally overrrr...

It finished broadcasting on October 30th.
"The Faith" Starring: Lee Min-ho as Choi Young(General), Kim Hee-Seon as Yoo Eun Soo.

Summary & Opinion: A 21st-century plastic surgeon Eun-Soo(Kim Hee-sun) gets kidnapped and brought 700 years in the past, Goryeo-era,  for her healing powers. Bodyguard to the king, Gerenal Choi Young is smart, has incredible sword skills(seriously his sword skills are WOW), and is really hot in it LOL. He faces conflicts with the female doctor Eun-soo, but soon feels attracted to her. This drama started off pretty good especially when he kidnaps Eun-Soo from Seoul. After a few episodes, it gets more and more interesting and you just keep on wanting more of FAITH ! It has a love story to it, a lot of action, and also a hot looking Choi Young :) Overall, I really reccommend you guys to watch it, it made me shed tears and also gasp a lot.

SPOILER opinion/rant: I really enjoyed the drama from the beginning to the end..except for when Eun-Soo was wanting to go back into the portal in the beginning of the drama.. she kept on standing there and talking.. like if you want to go back then just go into the damn portal don't just stand there and look at them talk..I kind of got pissed off at her character then and thought that she would be one of those stupid characters. But later on her character/personality was really starting to fit in with her and she started to adapt to her surroundings and I didn't hate her anymore LOL. Choi Young is so damn hot with his awesome sword skills, and his electricity powers <3 He's just like you can't touch this *SLAYS EVERYONE IN HIS WAY* I really hated the Deok Heung Prince guy he really irritated me.. especially since he used posion...like dude your never going to get the throne, so just back off. And that other prince guy with the mustache...who's always wanting Eun-Soo.. and wanting to go to heaven LOL. I felt sooo sad when he was like frosting Choi Young with his powers I was like NOOOOO! and his brothers and sisters are like OMG no one can defeat them...but in the end POWNAGE SON ! Min-ho was so handsome killing the white hair guy.. sorry i kind forgot their names LOL...And the cute scenes between the Choi Young and Eun-Soo are soooo damn cuteee ! Especially when Eun-Soo is teaching him 2012 stuff..I was also really sad when the Woodalchi people started to die, in order to protect the king. I also really liked the King and the Queen they were so cute together. the ending was fab too... even though Choi Young was "dying" near the end because of the mustache guy.. but I knew he wasn't gunna because of the spoilers on tumblr LOL... but it ended off really well .. i liked it :)

Really enjoyed this drama, and hope the people who haven't watched this drama will go and check it out :)

IT IS FKHAJKFJALSJFLAKJF SOOOOO GOOD LIKE SOOO GOOD EVERY EPISODE JUST MAKES YOU FREAK OUT AT IT'S INTENSITY...AND IT ENDS RIGHT WHEN IT'S INTENSE..AND THE PREVIEWS ARE LIKE OMG CAN'T WAIT...sorry for spazzing out LOL... I will review it once it ends...side note: don't want it tooo :(
